Something’s changing in logistics. It feels like we’re getting back to business.
It’s no secret that the last 2 years have been rough. With a looming trade war and rocky economy, a lot of carriers have been hit hard.
But this year feels different. I’ve seen a surge of inquiries in the last few weeks and extremely strong volumes.
I’ve also noticed something interesting. We’re starting to see real shipping seasons again.
Last year was the first in a while with a strong back to school, Halloween, and black friday season.
We’re also seeing a crackdown on unqualified carriers and licensing practices, meaning there’s more opportunity for legitimate carriers.
I’m not getting the champagne out just yet, but I’m cautiously optimistic.
Because the need has always been there. And customers are starting to move past their uncertainty.
It’s not a full celebration yet, but it feels like things are finally moving in the right direction.
